AUTOCAD Training in Singapore

In going international POLBAN has run a number of efforts to improve laboratory facilities and an Authorized Training Centre (ATC) which in the long run will become the basis for competency-based test. This ATC has received fund from the Directorate of Higher Education in the form of Strengthening Politeknik in renewable and un-renewable energy. This unit has been organized under the Technical Drawing Service POLBAN, which has sufficient facilities, such as 66 units of build-up PC and 20 inch width LCD and 2 server unit, 2 laptops. All the facilities are accommodated in two classes in P2T POLBAN.

To support the sustainability of this unit, POLBAN sent 17 lecturers to join the training in Singapore. The training is focused on Training to trainer for advanced- level Auto-cad 3D Civil 2008 version and Auto-desk Inventor 2008 version. The training was carried out in INNOCOM Technologies PTE-LTD-Singapore on the 3rd-8th December 2007. There was a long preparation before this program was carried out in Singapore. POLBAN had to go through a 10-day intermediate pre-training programs in Bandung, and also a 5-day training in AutoDesk ATC in Surabaya.
